Box Score MONTCLAIR, NJ - Despite six goals and an assist from senior midfielder Katie Rolwood, the College at Florham Devils were defeated by Montclair State by a score of 21-9 in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-7 while the Red Hawks improved to 8-1.

Montclair got off to a great start, scoring the first seven goals of the game before Rolwood scored back-to-back goals to make it 7-2 with 11:20 left in the first half.  The Red Hawks then scored five of the next six goals to grab a 12-3 advantage but Rolwood and sophomore midfielder Courtney Rendinaro scored the final two goals of the half to cut the deficit to 12-5 heading into the break.

The Red Hawks jumped out to a 14-5 lead early in the second half but FDU tallied three of the next four goals, with two coming from Rolwood, to pull to within 15-8 with 20:51 to go.  That's when Montclair really took over though, as they scored the next six goals to put the game away.

Rendinaro finished the game with two goals and an assist while sophomore goalkeeper Grace Warburton suffered the loss in net, making seven saves.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 6, 2013, with their Freedom Conference opener at Misericordia beginning at 1 pm.
