Box Score WILKES-BARRE, PA - Sophomore forward
Kyra Dayon finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and five steals to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 73-36 win over Wilkes in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening. The win clinched a berth in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament for FDU, though the Devils have their sights set on the top seed.
With the win, the Devils improved to 20-2 (10-1 Freedom) while the Colonels dropped to 11-11 (2-9 Freedom). The victory also gives FDU its first ever 20-win season in women's basketball.
FDU began the game as good as you could hope for, racing out to a 32-12 lead with 7:11 left in the first half. Wilkes posed their only real threat of the game at that point, going on a quick 9-0 lead to close the gap to 32-21 but the Devils closed the half on a 7-1 run to take a 39-22 lead into the locker room.
The Devils didn't lose focus in the second half, as they built a 27-point lead, 56-29, with 10:40 left in the game before pushing their advantage into the 30's and keeping it there for the remainder of the contest.

Delisha Thompson pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds, and junior guard
Jalessa Lewis notched nine points, seven assists and four steals.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at home against DeSales beginning at 1 pm.
