Box Score MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The No.20 FDU-Florham Devils women's basketball team kept it rolling on Tuesday night as they defeated the College of Saint Elizabeth Screaming Eagles 102-50 at St. Joseph's Hall.
The Devils (5-0, 0-0 MAC) suffocated the Screaming Eagles (3-3, 0-1 NEAC) with their full-court pressure and caused 31 turnovers. Sophomore forward
Shalette Brown (Somerset, N.J./Franklin) led the way for the Devils with 16 points and 13 rebounds in just 26 minutes of action.
FDU-Florham led 47-30 at the half on 40 percent shooting from the floor.
In the second half, the Devils pulled away courtesy of a monstrous 56-3 run during the game's final ten minutes of play.
Kyra Dayon (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Central) continued her outstanding junior season and tied Brown with a team-high of 16 points. The junior also added seven boards to the ledger.
Kara Dayon (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Central),
Rachel Groom (Edison, N.J./Edison), and
Jalessa Lewis (Irvington, N.J./Mount St. Dominic) each posted double-figure scoring efforts with 15, 13 and 12 points respectively.
Kara Dayon also added a season-high of six steals in the victory.
