Box Score MADISON, N.J. -- The FDU-Florham Devils football team (1-3, 0-3 MAC) fell to the Albright College Lions (3-2, 2-2 MAC) by the final score of 52-7 on homecoming Saturday at Robert T. Shields Field.
The Lions posted 45 unanswered points before the Devils got on the board in the fourth quarter, courtesy of a blocked punt that was recovered in the end zone by freshman
Mike Brown (Freehold, N.J./Colts Neck).
Albright tailback Ty Hughes opened the scoring with a five-yard touchdown run which capped a five play, 55-yard opening drive for the Lions. Leading 7-0 in the second quarter, Lions quarterback TJ Luddy found Daniel McNair for Albright's second score of the day. With 21 seconds left in the half, Luddy's quarterback keeper provided the Lions a 21-0 advantage at intermission.
The Devils struggled offensively, totaling 254 yards on the afternoon, their lowest output of the season.
Sophomore tailback
Craig Kimbrough (Dover, N.J./Morris Catholic) hauled in five catches and totaled 94 all-purpose yards for the Devils in defeat.
