HOBOKEN, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Buffalo State, 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-15), and Kean, 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-20), on the first day of the Stevens Tournament on Friday evening.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 0-3 on the season.
BUFFALO STATE - Freshman outside hitter
Savannah Hickox led the Devils with six kills and 13 digs while freshman setter
Erin Gannon tallied 15 assists. Freshman outside hitter
Jean Etersque added four kills and 21 digs.
KEAN - Freshman libero
Madison Cicchetti paced FDU in their second match, finishing with eight kills and 17 digs while Hickox added eight kills and 12 digs. Gannon notched 20 assists and 13 digs while Etersque recorded 20 digs.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, September 15, 2012, for the second day of the Stevens Tournament against Stevens beginning at 10 am and Swarthmore at noon.
