Box Score PURCHASE, NY - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Manhattanville, 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-12), in their 2012 season and Freedom Conference opener on Wednesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils are 0-1 (0-1 Freedom) while the Valiants are 5-4 (1-0 Freedom).

Freshman outside hitter Savannah Hickox led the way for the Devils with 12 kills and 16 digs while freshman setter Erin Gannon added 21 assists.  Freshman outside hitter Jean Etersque tallied 29 digs while freshman libero Madison Ciccchetti recorded 23 digs.

The Devils return to action on Friday, September 14, 2012, at the Stevens Tournament against Buffalo State at 4 pm and against Kean at 6 pm.
