Box Score WAYNE, NJ - Junior midfielder Lanie Andrews recorded two goals and an assist to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 4-2 win over William Paterson in the season opener for both teams on Friday evening.

With the win, the Devils now stand at 1-0.

Andrews got the scoring started 13:02 into the game but that was all the scoring in the first half as the Devils to their 1-0 lead into intermission.  Andrews helped the Devils make it 2-0 with 4:22 gone by in the second half when she assisted on a goal by senior forward Leanna Grotyohann off of a penalty corner.  The Pioneers cut it to 2-1 at the 47:41 mark but FDU got that goal right back nine minutes later when Andrews converted a feed from sophomore forward Rebecca Bruns.  The Devils tacked on an insurance goal when freshman forward Stephanie Geskes tallied just 1:30 later.  William Paterson got one final goal with 2:03 left in the game but it was too little, too late as the Devils earned the win.

Junior goalkeeper Tess Loughran picked up the win, making five saves.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Richard Stockton beginning at 6 pm.
