Breana Kilpatrick tallied five goals and two assists while freshman midfielder
Courtney Rendinaro added two goals and three assists to help the top-seeded College at Florham Devils beat fourth-seeded Manhattanville, 17-8, in the Semifinals of the Freedom Conference Tournament on Wednesday evening.
With the win, the Devils improved to 12-6 while the Valiants dropped to 4-13. FDU will now go on to play second-seeded Eastern in the tournament finals.
FDU got off to the exact start they were looking for, scoring the first five goals of the game to grab a 5-0 lead with 20:32 left in the first half. Manhattanville scored two of the next three goals to make it 6-2 but FDU got those two goals back on tallies from junior attack

Katie Rolwood to put the Devils up by a score of 8-2 with 6:14 remaining. The Valiants then scored two in a row to pull to within 8-4 with 4:18 to go but Rolwood scored the final goal of the half with just 0:04 to play to send FDU into intermission with a 9-4 lead.
The Devils scored three of the first four goals to begin the second stanza, with Kilpatrick scoring two of the goals, to take a 12-5 lead with 19:00 left. After the Valiants cut it to 12-6 with 14:20 remaining, FDU really put the game out of reach by scoring four of the next five goals to increase their lead to 16-7 with 3:29 to go. Kilpatrick and Slicklen each had two goals during the run. Each team scored a goal in the final 1:13 of the contest but by that time the Devils already punched their ticket to the finals.
Slicklen finished the game with four goals while Rolwood added three goals. Freshman goalkeeper

The Devils return to action on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at home in the Freedom Conference Tournament Finals against second-seeded Eastern beginning at 1 pm.
