MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils knocked off Rutgers-Newark, 7-2, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 2-8.
Sophomore
AJ Warden picked up two victories for FDU, winning at second singles (6-1, 6-0) while teaming with sophomore
Nate Pike to win third doubles (8-1). Freshman
Mitch Gettis won at third singles (6-0, 6-0) and combined with sophomore
Ryan Kearns to win at first doubles (8-3). Kearns also picked up a victory at fourth singles (6-0, 6-0). Sophomore
Kevin Kotsak took fifth singles (6-0, 6-0) while junior
Jacob Leigh won at sixth singles (6-0, 6-3).
The Devils return to action on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Bloomfield beginning at 3 pm.
