Box Score MADISON, NJ - The sixth-seeded College at Florham Devils were defeated by third-seeded Stockton, 73-62, in the Quarterfinals of the ECAC Metro Region Tournament on Wednesday evening. The Ospreys will now go on to play in the semifinals while the Devils saw their season come to a close.
With the loss, the Devils finished their season with a record of 13-13 while the Ospreys improved to 16-12.
FDU jumped out to an early 6-4 lead with 5:10 gone by in the first half but Stockton responded with a 14-2 run over the next four minutes to grab an 18-8 advantage. It was still a ten-point Osprey lead, 22-12, with 8:22 to go when FDU went on a quick 6-0 run to pull to within 22-18 just a minute later. Stockton came right back though, and closed the half on a 17-4 run to take a 39-22 lead into intermission.
Stockton pushed their lead to 20, 45-25, in the early stages of the second half but the Devils made one final push to try to get back in the game, reeling off a 19-6 run to close to 51-44 with 10:29 left in the game. Freshman forward

Jalessa Lewis each had six points in the run for the Devils. FDU was still within striking distance, down 56-48 with 7:25 to go, but the Ospreys put the game away with a 15-9 run to take a 71-57 advantage with 1:43 to play on their way to the 73-62 victory.
Dayon led the way for the Devils, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Lewis added 10 points, four rebounds and four steals off the bench while sophomore guard
Jasmine Washington tallied 11 points off the bench. Stockton had five players score in double figures, led by 13 points and nine rebounds from
LaTonya Oliver.
Lauren Alwan also had 13 points while
Che'Na Thompson added 10 points and seven boards.
