Nicole Ham tallied four goals and an assist to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 14-4 victory over St. Joseph's (L.I.) in their season opener on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 1-0 while the Eagles dropped to 0-3.
The Devils came out hot, scoring the first six goals of the game to take a 6-0 lead with 17:10 left in the first half. Rolwood and junior attack
Sara Slicklen each had two goals in the spurt. After the Eagles made it 6-1, FDU notched the final three goals of the half to take a 9-1 lead into the break.
Ham made it 10-1 just 0:54 into the second stanza but St. Joseph's then fired in three of the next four goals to cut their deficit to 11-4 with 16:08 left in the game. That was as close as the Devils would let them get though, as Slicklen, Kilpatrick and Ham scored the final three goals of the game to give FDU a 14-4 win on opening day.

Patricia Samms made her first career start and played the first half, picking up the win with two saves.
