Box Score MADISON, NJ - Sophomore guard Leigh-Ann Lively tallied 20 points, sophomore forward Kyra Dayon recorded 10 points and 11 rebounds, and freshman Rachel Groom added 13 points and eight rebounds to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 65-41 win over cross-town rival Drew on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the Devils improved to 6-1 while the Rangers dropped to 2-6.

FDU got off to a hot start, opening up a 21-8 advantage with 8:30 left in the first half thanks to 10 points from Lively.  After Drew cut it to 11, 21-10, the Devils closed the half on 9-4 run to take a 30-14 lead into the locker room.  The Devil defense was fantastic all game but especially in the late stages of the first half when Drew could not get anything going.

The Devils quickly built their lead into the twenties in the early portion of the second half, but the Rangers cut it to 42-26 with 12:03 to go.  That was as close as FDU would let them get though, as the Devils dug in on defense and played solid team ball on offense to pull away for the 65-41 victory.

Junior guard Jalessa Lewis finished with five points, four rebounds, four assists and six steals while sophomore forward Delisha Thompson added six points and three rebounds.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at home against Valley Forge Christian beginning at 1 pm.
