Box Score LANGHORNE, PA - The College at Florham Devils had five different players score in double figures, led by 11 points from sophomore forward
Delisha Thompson, on their way to a 70-30 victory over Cairn on Tuesday evening.
With the win, the Devils improved to 2-1 on the season.
FDU got off to a fast start, grabbing an 18-2 lead with 12:49 left in the first half thanks to six points from sophomore guard
Leigh-Ann Lively, and put the game away with a half-closing 33-10 run to take a 51-12 lead at intermission. Sophomore guard
Kara Dayon was the catalyst in the run, scoring eight points for FDU. The Devils eased off the pedal in the second half but were well on their way to the 70-30 win.
Thompson had eight rebounds to go along with her 11 points while Dayon, junior guard
Jalessa Lewis, freshman center
Rachel Groom, and freshman forward
DeAnna D'Amico each had 10 points.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, with their Freedom Conference opener at DeSales beginning at 6 pm.
