Box Score ANNVILLE, PA - Despite 19 points apiece from sophomore forward

Leigh-Ann Lively, the College at Florham Devils were knocked off by #10 Lebanon Valley by a score of 81-72 in the Lebanon Valley Rinso Marquette Tournament Finals on Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 1-1 on the season.
FDU got off to a hot start, jumping out to a 6-0 before Lebanon Valley tied the game at 8-8 with 14:57 to go in the first half. The game was tied again at 20-20 after Lively hit two free throws with 8:13 to go and the Devils grabbed a 24-21 advantage with 4:11 remaining after a jumper by junior guard
Jalessa Lewis. The Dutchmen came right back though, going on a 13-6 run to take a 34-30 lead with 1:15 left in the half. FDU scored the final three points of the stanza on an old-fashioned three-point play from sophomore forward
Quaneshia Harris to pull within 34-33 at the break.
Lebanon Valley still had their one point lead, 41-40, five minutes into the second half before opening up a 48-42 lead with 13:02 to go. The Devils responded immediately, ripping off an 8-1 run to take a 50-49 lead with 9:50 to play thanks to six points from Dayon. It was LVC's turn for a run however, as the Dutchmen embarked on a 16-6 run over the next five minutes to take a 65-56 lead with 4:58 to go. FDU made one final push and closed to within five, 75-70, after a jumper from Dayon with 1:36 remaining but Lebanon Valley scored six of the final eights of the contest to escape with the 81-72 victory.
Dayon had four assists to go along with her 19 points while Lively added three steals with her 19 points. Lewis finished the game with 12 points, nine assists and three steals while sophomore forward
Delisha Thompson had six points and eight rebounds.
The Devils return to action on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Cairn beginning at 7 pm.
