ST. DAVIDS, PA - With the game tied at 2-2 early in the second half, Eastern erupted for four straight goals to beat the College at Florham Devils by a score of 6-2 in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 8-9 (4-2 Freedom) while the Eagles improved to 12-5 (5-1 Freedom). The Devils still control their own fate for a bid to the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament, if they beat Manhattanville on Tuesday night they will wrap up the third seed.
Eastern got on the board first just three minutes into the game before making it 2-0 at the 17:57 mark. The Devils dug in though and made it 2-1 five minutes later when senior midfielder

Lanie Andrews. The game remained 2-1 through the remainder of the first half but with 6:16 gone by in the second half, sophomore midfielder
Rebecca Bruns tied the game at 2-2 when she knocked home a rebound. That's when the Eagles took over though, ripping off four consecutive goals to earn the 6-2 victory.

Amy Defnet suffered the loss, making 13 saves in 49:56 of action.
