Box Score MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Kean, 1-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 6-5 on the season.

The lone goal of the game came just 5:10 into the contest when the Cougars knocked home a shot after a scrum in front of the goalkeeper.  For the game, FDU had an 8-3 advantage in shots and a 7-2 edge in penalty corners but could not find the equalizer.  The Devils had a fantastic opportunity as time ran out at the end of regulation when they were awarded a penalty corner.  Junior forward Lanie Andrews passed the ball to sophomore defender Niki Ikeda, who then rocketed a shot towards the goal that Andrews tried to tip in but the Kean goalie pushed the ball wide to preserve the win for the Cougars.

Junior goalkeeper Tess Loughran suffered the loss, making one save.

The Devils return to action on Friday, October 5, 2012, at home for Alumni Day against Gwynedd-Mercy beginning at 7 pm.
