Box Score DALLAS, PA - Leading 37-31 at halftime, Misericordia outscored the College at Florham Devils by a margin of 41-20 in the second half on their way to a 78-51 win on Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference action.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 9-10 (4-4 Freedom) while the Cougars improved to 13-6 (5-3 Freedom).

FDU opened up a 15-12 lead with 11:11 to go in the first half after a jumper from senior guard Adam Katz but Misericordia came back with a 17-9 run to grab a 29-24 lead with 3:38 left.  The Devils trimmed their deficit to two points, 31-29, with 1:23 remaining but the Cougars closed the half with a 6-2 run to take a 37-31 halftime advantage.

The Cougars came out hot to start the second half, opening with a 23-7 run to grab a 60-38 lead with 9:32 left in the game.  The Devils go to within 17, 60-43, with 6:55 left but that was as close as they would get as Misericordia reeled off a 15-4 run over the next three minutes to put the game out of reach.

Katz finished the game with 10 points and four rebounds while sophomore forward Will Green added 12 points and six boards.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Manhattanville beginning at 8 pm.
