Box Score WILKES-BARRE, PA - After trailing 41-23 heading into halftime, the College at Florham Devils picked up their play and outscored Wilkes by six, 46-40, in the second half, however it wasn't enough as the Colonels knocked off the Devils by a score of 81-69 in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 8-9 (3-3 Freedom) while the Colonels improved to 13-3 (6-0 Freedom).

Wilkes got out to a qucik 9-2 advantage with just over three minutes gone by in the first half before going on a 20-12 run to take a 29-14 lead with 6:04 left in the first half.  After the Devils cut it to 29-18 a minute later, the Colonels closed the half with a 12-5 spurt to grab a 41-23 lead at intermission.

The Colonels increased their lead to 26 points, 57-31, with 12:53 to go in the game but the Devils dug in and reeled off a 27-10 run over the next nine minutes to pull to within 67-58 with 3:53 to go in the contest.  Junior guard Ardell Roberts was the catalyst in the run, pouring in 12 points for FDU.  The Devils still trailed by nine, 75-66, with 1:02 to go but Wilkes went 6-for-6 from the free throw line down the stretch to seal the win.

Senior guard Adam Katz finished with a team-high 18 points while Roberts added 12 points off the bench.  Junior guard Mike Williamson also came off the bench to score 11 points.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at home against Delaware Valley beginning at 8 pm.
