Devils Defeated By Dickinson, 2-1

MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Dickinson, 2-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 4-6.

FDU started the scoring quickly as junior midfielder Kelsey Kistle made it 1-0 just 5:05 into the game.  The Devils held that lead until Dickinson tied it at 1-1 with 4:29 left in the first half.  The two teams battled evenly through the first half of the second stanza but the Red Devils converted the game-winner with 13:15 left to secure the win.  The two teams were pretty much even statisticall speaking as each squad had seven penalty corner while Dickinson held an 11-10 edge in shots.

Sophomore goalkeeper Tess Loughran suffered the loss, making five saves.

The Devils return to action on Friday, September 30, 2011, at home with their Freedom Conference opener and Alumni Appreciation Day against Wilkes beginning at 6 pm.
