HOBOKEN, NJ - One week after winning the Stevenson Tournament, the College at Florham Devils took the Stevens Tournament with victories over Elmira and Newbury on Saturday afternoon.  Senior libero Marta Matera, junior setter Nicole Weissert and freshman outside hitter Momi Mariani were all named to the All-Tournament Team.

With the pair of victories, the Devils improved to 12-3 on the season.

ELMIRA - FDU took the first match of the day by a score of 3-1 (25-13, 19-25, 25-21, 25-19).  Mariani led the way with 13 kills and nine digs while freshman right side Andrea Peters added 11 kills.  Weissert had 34 assists and 13 digs, Matera finished with 20 digs, senior defender Jackie Kressaty tallied 19 digs, and junior outside hitter Chelsea Hoeffler added 17 digs.

NEWBURY - The Devils rolled to the title with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-17) victory in the final match of the tournament.  Mariani once again led FDU in kills with seven while Weissert had 10 assists and 12 digs.  Kressaty notched 11 digs and five aces while freshman setter Riley Brewer added 12 assists and five aces.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at home against King's beginning at 7 pm.
