MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by cross-town rival Drew, 16-8, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 9-5 while the Rangers improved to 7-7.

Drew got off to a great start, jumping out to a 5-1 lead with 10:08 left in the first half.  The Devils came right back though, scoring the next three goals to close to within 5-4 with 6:22 to go.  Drew scored two of the last three goals of the half however, to take a 7-5 advantage heading into intermission.

The Rangers had an even better start to the second half than they did the first, opening with eight of the first nine goals to blow the game wide open with a 15-6 lead with 5:03 remaining in the game.  FDU scored two of the final three goals but it wasn't enough as Drew picked up the win.

Senior attack Sara Franckowiak led the Devils with three goals and two assists while sophomore attack Jennie Jones also scored three goals.  Freshman goalkeeper Ashley Smith suffered the loss, making 12 saves.

The Devils return to action on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Alvernia beginning at 4 pm.
