ANNVILLE, PA - Junior midfielder
Breana Kilpatrick scored four goals, including the 100th of her career, to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 17-14 victory over Lebanon Valley in MAC action on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 7-4 (6-2 MAC) while the Dutchmen dropped to 5-5 (4-3 MAC).
Kilpatrick got the Devils started by scoring the first goal of the game and after LVC tied it at 1-1, FDU ripped off five of the next six goals to grab a 6-2 lead with 18:26 left in the first half. Kilpatrick had two more goals in the run for FDU. The Dutchmen closed to within 6-4 but the Devils went on another run, this time they scored six of the next seven goals to take a 12-5 lead with 4:34 remaining. Each team scored one goal in the remainder of the half to make the score 13-6 in favor of FDU heading into intermission.
LVC came out strong to start the second half, scoring six of the first eight goals to close their gap to 15-12 with 8:40 left. Freshman midfielder
McKenzie Loughlin and Kilpatrick scored two in a row for the Devils though, to put the game out of reach with 2:23 remaining.
