Breana Kilpatrick scored five goals while sophomore attack
Jennie Jones added four goals and two assists to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 16-7 win over Widener in MAC action on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 5-3 (4-1 MAC) while the Pride dropped to 4-5 (2-3 MAC).
The Devils came out hot to start the game, scoring nine of the first ten goals of the contest. Kilpatrick had four goals, Jones had three goals, and senior midfielder
Lindsey Parent scored two goals in the spurt. After Widener cut it to 9-3, FDU closed the half by scoring three straight goals to take a 12-3 halftime advantage.
Each team scored four goals in the second half but the Devils were never threatened as they cruised to the victory.
Parent finished the game with three goals while senior attack
Sara Franckowiak tallied two goals and four assists. Freshman goalkeeper
Ashley Smith picked up the win in net, making five saves in the first half.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at home against Messiah beginning at 1 pm.
