Box Score MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by cross-town rival Drew, 62-52, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-6 on the season.

Drew jumped out to a 15-6 lead with 11:20 left in the first half but the Devils came right back with a 13-4 run to tie the game at 19-19 with 8:22 to go thanks to seven points from junior guard Tasza Carter.  The two teams went back-and-forth after that with the Devils finall grabbing a three-point lead, 30-27, after a three-pointer from sophomore guard Jasmine Washington with 2:19 to go.  It was Drew's turn to respond though, as the Rangers closed the half with a 6-1 run to take a 33-31 advantage into intermission.

With Drew still up by two points, 37-35, and 14:11 left in the game, the Rangers exploded for a 17-7 run to grab a 54-42 lead with 3:42 remaining.  FDU wasn't done however, as sophomore forward Brianna Nicholls scored five of FDU's next 10 points to help the Devils pull to within 56-52 with 0:36 to play.  Drew got a layup on their next possession though, and hit 4-of-4 from the foul line down the stretch to earn the 62-52 victory.

Nicholls led the Devils with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists while Carter added 11 points.

The Devils return to action on Friday, December 9, 2011, at John Jay beginning at 5 pm.
