READING, PA - The seventh-seeded College at Florham Devils were defeated by second-seeded Alvernia, 2-1, in the Quarterfinals of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils finished the 2011 season with a record of 12-10. The Crusaders improved to 14-7.

Lauren Guenther. The Devils kept their lead through intermission and through the first 15:00 of the second half before Alvernia tied it at 1-1 at the 50:16 mark. The Crusaders then got the game-winner just six minutes later although the Devils did have a few opportunities down the stretch to tie the game but couldn't convert. In the game, Alvernia held an 18-13 advantage in shots while FDU had a 15-14 edge in penalty corners.
