Box Score MADISON, NJ - Sophomore forward Will Green had game-highs of 20 points and 17 rebounds while junior guard Mike Williamson came off the bench to score 16 points (4-of-6 from three) to lead the College at Florham Devils to their first victory of the season, 68-51, over DeSales in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the Devils improved to 1-3 (1-0 Freedom) while the Bulldogs dropped to 2-3 (0-1 Freedom).

With the game tied at 15-15 and 8:40 left in the first half, the Devils ripped off a 10-1 run to grab a 25-16 lead with 3:52 remaining thanks to four points from junior forward Derek Hall.  After DeSales cut it to 25-19, FDU scored four in a row to grab a 29-19 edge with 0:38 to go.  The Bulldogs got a free throw with 0:24 left to make the halftime score 29-20 in favor of the Devils.

DeSales pulled to within five points, 38-33, with 11:56 left in the game but the Devils responded with a game-changing 16-1 run over the next three minutes to take a 54-34 lead with 8:49 remaining.  In the run, Williamson poured in 11 of the 16 points.  The Bulldogs closed to 59-43 with 4:31 to play but that was as close as they would get as FDU made their free throws down the stretch to earn the win.

To go along with Green and Williamson, senior guard Adam Katz tallied 11 points and four assists.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at King's beginning at 3 pm.
