TOWSON, MD - The College at Florham Devils knocked off Lancaster Bible, Marymount, and Goucher before losing to Stevenson to finish 3-1 and in second place at the Goucher Tournament on Friday and Saturday afternoons.  Junior outside hitter Chelsea Hoeffler and freshman outside hitter Momi Mariani were each named to the All-Tournament team.

With the second place finish, the Devils now stand at 21-6 on the season.

LANCASTER BIBLE - The Devils picked up the win, 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14).  Hoeffler had 11 kills and 12 digs while sophomore middle hitter Helena Riede also tallied 11 kills.  Mariani finished with 10 kills and 13 digs, junior setter Nicole Weissert recorded 35 assists and 13 digs, and senior libero Marta Matera notched 31 digs.

MARYMOUNT - FDU won the second game on Friday night by a score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-14).  Riede had 11 kills, Matera finished with 20 digs, Weissert had 31 assists and 10 digs, and Hoeffler recorded 15 digs.

GOUCHER - The Devils knocked off the host, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-21).  Hoeffler had 11 kills and 12 digs, Mariani had 10 kills and 12 digs, Weissert finished with 32 assists, and Matera had 24 digs.

STEVENSON - In the match the decided the tournament championship, FDU was knocked off 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-15).  Riede had seven kills, Weissert added 13 assists, Matera had 14 digs, and Hoefller finished with 10 digs.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at DeSales beginning at 7 pm.
