CENTER VALLEY, PA - The College at Florham Devils scored two goals in the 16:30 of the game en route to a 2-1 victory over DeSales in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 7-7 (2-0 Freedom) while the Bulldogs dropped to 4-7 (1-1 Freedom).
FDU got on the board at the14:23 mark when freshman forward
Rebecca Bruns found the back of the cage. The Devils grabbed a 2-0 lead just 2:07 later as junior midfielder
Kelsey Kistle pumped in a goal. The Devils held that 2-0 advantage until there was 6:28 left in the game but it was too little too late for DeSales as FDU earned the win.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Tess Loughran earned the win, playing the first 58:06 and allowing no goals.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Misericordia beginning at 4 pm.
