UNION, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Kean, 3-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 5-7.

After a scoreless first half, Kean got on the board just 0:32 into the second stanza but FDU tied it at 1-1 just three minutes later senior forward Lauren Guenther converted a pass from junior midfielder Corey VanOrden.  The Cougars went back on top, 2-1, at the 53:00 mark before getting an insurance goal with 6:06 left in the game.

Sophomore goalkeeper Tess Loughran suffered the loss, making four saves.

The Devils return to action on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at home against cross-town rival Drew beginning at 7 pm.
