DOYLESTOWN, PA - The College at Florham Devils shutout Delaware Valley, 4-0, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon and in the process, clinched a berth in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament.

With the win, the Devils improved to 10-8 (5-1 Freedom) while the Aggies dropped to 3-12 (1-4 Freedom).  With a win in their final regular season game and FDU will clinch the top seed in the tournament.

The Devils started the scoring at the 20:21 mark when junior midfielder Kelsey Kistle converted a pass from senior forward Lauren Guenther.  FDU made it 2-0 with 4:20 left before halftime as junior midfielder Corey VanOrden knocked in a feed from senior defender Sara Chauvette before making it 3-0 just two minutes later when Guenther scored on an assist from freshman forward Rebecca Bruns.  Bruns finished the scoring for the Devils with 10:56 left in the game as she tallied off a pass from VanOrden.

Sophomore goalkeeper Tess Loughran picked up the win, making one save.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, with their regular season finale at Manhattanville beginning at 7 pm.
