DOYLESTOWN, PA - The College at Florham Devils shutout Delaware Valley, 4-0, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon and in the process, clinched a berth in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament.
With the win, the Devils improved to 10-8 (5-1 Freedom) while the Aggies dropped to 3-12 (1-4 Freedom). With a win in their final regular season game and FDU will clinch the top seed in the tournament.
The Devils started the scoring at the 20:21 mark when junior midfielder
Kelsey Kistle converted a pass from senior forward
Lauren Guenther. FDU made it 2-0 with 4:20 left before halftime as junior midfielder
Corey VanOrden knocked in a feed from senior defender
Sara Chauvette before making it 3-0 just two minutes later when Guenther scored on an assist from freshman forward
Rebecca Bruns. Bruns finished the scoring for the Devils with 10:56 left in the game as she tallied off a pass from VanOrden.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, with their regular season finale at Manhattanville beginning at 7 pm.
