DALLAS, PA - The College at Florham Devils defeated Misericordia, 2-1, in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 8-7 (3-0 Freedom) while the Cougars dropped to 3-8 (1-3 Freedom).
Misericordia got on the board first, just 9:46 into the contest, but the Devils came right back and tied it at 1-1 six minutes later as senior midfielder
Megan Springmeyer converted a penalty stroke. The game remained tied until junior midfielder
Kelsey Kistle knocked home a rebound for the game-winner with 21:41 remaining in the second half. In the game, FDU held a 16-6 edge in shots and 15-11 advantage in penalty corners.

Tess Loughran picked up the win, making four saves.
The Devils return to action on Monday, October 17, 2011, at home for Pink Day against King's beginning at 4 pm.
