WILKES-BARRE, PA - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by King's, 5-1, in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-6 (0-1 Freedom) while the Monarchs improved to 7-1 (1-0 Freedom).
King's opened the scoring 10:33 into the contest and made it 2-0 nine minutes later. The Monarchs then tacked on a third goal only 1:02 before halftime. King's took a 4-0 advantage 10:27 into the second stanza before senior forward
Lauren Fabrizio (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) got the Devils on the board at the 54:04 mark. The Monarchs added one final goal with 3:04 left in the game.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at home against Moravian beginning at 7 pm.
