Eastern again tried to mount a rally, this time scoring four of the next five goals to pull to within 15-9 with 18:01 left to play. That was all FDU would allow though, as the Devils notched three of the next four goals to go ahead by a score of 18-10 with 13:33 remaining. Eastern scored to make it 18-11 but the Devils scored the final two goals of the game to move on to the Semifinals on Thursday.
