Bohn Scores 100th Career Goal As Devils Beat Lebanon Valley, 18-7

MADISON, NJ - Senior attack Linda Bohn (Vernon, NJ/Vernon) scored eight goals, including the 100th of her career, to lead the College at Florham Devils to an 18-7 victory over Lebanon Valley on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon.  The win was also the 75th in the career of FDU Head Coach Adrienne Booth.

With the win, the Devils finished the regular season with a record of 12-5 (10-2 MAC) while the Dutchmen dropped to 6-9 (4-8 MAC).

FDU stuck first in the game, scoring the first two goals on tallies by senior attack Kristen Schuster (Centereach, NY/Centereach) and sophomore attack Breana Kilpatrick (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) with each assisted by freshman attack Ashley Schlindwein (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson).  After LVC made it 2-1, the Devils scored seven of the next eight goals to grab a 9-2 lead with 19:36 left in the first half.  The Dutchmen cut it to 9-4 with 8:57 to go but FDU ended the half by scoring six straight goals to take a 15-4 lead at intermission.  Each team scored three goals in the second half but by then the Devils had already put the game away.

Bohn also had two assists to go along with her eight goals and she is now tied for first All-Time in FDU history with 61 career assists.  Schuster finished with four goals and three assists while senior goalkeeper Brittany Laning (New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt) started and picked up the win, playing the first half and making five saves.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, when third-seeded FDU hosts sixth-seeded Eastern in the Quarterfinals of the Middle Atlantic Conference Tournament beginning at 5:30 pm.
