CENTER VALLEY, PA - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by DeSales, 73-46, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils finished the season with a record of 4-21 (2-12 Freedom) while the Bulldogs improved to 20-5 (13-1 Freedom).
DeSales opened up the game by getting out to a 27-13 lead with 7:31 left in the first half. The Devils though, responded with a 9-0 run over the next two minutes to cut it to 27-22 with 5:36 remaining. That's as close as FDU would get however, as the Bulldogs closed the half on a 15-5 run to take a 42-27 lead into the locker room.
After FDU cut it to 45-31 in the early stages of the second half, DeSales put the game away with a 26-10 run to take a 71-41 lead with 3:37 left in the game.
