WILKES-BARRE, PA - Senior quarterback
Corey Lavin (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) went 22-of-37 for 305 yards and three touchdowns to lead King's to a 45-14 victory over the College at Florham Devils in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-6 (0-6 MAC) while the Monarchs improved to 1-8 (1-5 MAC).
King's started the game with the ball and went 70 yards in eight plays capped by a 24-yard touchdown pass from Lavin to freshman wid receiver
Chris Greene (Bear, DE/Howard) to take a 7-0 lead with 10:55 left in the first quarter. On FDU's first play from scrimmage, junior running back
Sean Norton (Lincoln Park, NJ/Boonton) fumbled and King's recovered on the FDU 39 yard line. Three plays later, Lavin made it 14-0 when he hit sophomore wide receiver
David Abdalla (Dunmore, PA/Valley View) for a 25-yard score with 9:18 left in the quarter. After a three-and-out by the Devils, the Monarchs took the ball 75 yards in 15 plays and settled for a 25-yard field goal by senior kicker

FDU started the second quarter with the ball but on the first play, senior wide receiver
Andrew Scamporino (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) fumbled and the Monarchs took over on the FDU 43 yard line. After their first two plays didn't go anywhere, junior running back
Matt Spencer (Furlong, NJ/Central Bucks East) ripped off a 43-yard touchdown run to put King's up, 24-0, with 14:28 left in the half. FDU picked up one first down on their next drive but had to punt and after a 10-yard punt by senior punter
John Hancock (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.), King's started their next possession on the FDU 49. Three plays later, Greene ran it in from 32 yards out to put the Monarchs ahead, 31-0, with 9:48 left in the half. The Devils got on the board on their next series, going 59 yards in seven plays capped by a 26-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback

The Monarchs scored on their first possession of the second half to take a 45-7 lead on a 47-yard touchdown pass from Lavin to senior wide receiver
Jay Torres (Lebanon, NJ/Lebanon). The Devils finished the scoring for the afternoon with 4:26 left in the third quarter when Jeffers connected on a 95-yard touchdown pass to senior running back
Bayshawn Wells (Lawrence, NJ/Lawrence) to reach the final score of 45-14. The 95-yard catch-and-run by Wells is the longest touchdown pass in FDU football history.
