MADISON, NJ - Senior forward Lora Fink (Hamilton Square, NJ/Pennington Prep) converted a penalty shot with 3:41 left in overtime to give the College at Florham Devils a 3-2 (OT) win over DeSales on Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference action.

With the win, the Devils improved to 9-4-1 (2-0 Freedom) while the Bulldogs dropped to 5-7-1 (0-1-1 Freedom).

It was a back-and-forth game all afternoon as the Devils got on the board first just 5:51 before half when Fink found senior forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) to give FDU a 1-0 lead.  The Bulldogs tied it at 1-1 only 4:55 into the second half but the Devils went back up, 2-1, at the 69:50 mark when junior midfielder Jenna Campfield (Farmingdale, NJ/Colts Neck) found the back of the net.  DeSales had no quit in them though, as they tied it up again with only 6:40 to go in regulation.  Both squads had opportunities down the stretch and in overtime but Fink came up with the heroics for FDU to give the Devils the win.

Junior goalkeeper Lauren Albrecht (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) earned the win, making 13 saves in net.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Delaware Valley beginning at 4 pm.
