PURCHASE, NY - The College at Florham Devils knocked off Manhattanville, 3-0 (25-23, 25-15, 25-18), in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening to not only secure a bid to the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament, but the Devils will also be the #2 seed and host a home match in the Semifinals.

With the win, FDU improved to 28-7 (5-2 Freedom) while the Valiants dropped to 9-17 (0-7 Freedom).  The Devils will host third-seeded Misericordia in the Semifinals of the Freedom Conference Tournament on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, beginning at 7 pm.

Freshman outside hitter Helena Riede (Haworth, NJ/Northern Valley Demarest) led FDU with eight kills while senior setter Kerry Kuperman (Scottsdale, AZ/Chaparral) added 14 assists and five digs.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the St. Joseph's (L.I.) Tri-Match against St. Joseph's (L.I.) beginning at noon and against St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) beginning at 2 pm.
