MADISON, NJ - In a day where they got help from two other conference teams, the College at Florham Devils beat Manhattanville, 4-0, in Freedom Conference action to lock up the #3 seed in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament.
Going into the day, the Devils were on the outside looking in but when Wilkes beat Misericordia and Eastern downed Delaware Valley, the Devils had fate in their hands and cashed in with a victory against Manhattanville.
With the win, the Devils improved to 10-9 (4-3 Freedom) while the Valiants finished their season 8-10 (2-5 Freedom).
FDU started the scoring just 3:29 into the game when junior midfielder

Lanie Andrews (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville) tipped in a pass from sophomore midfielder
Kelsey Kistle (Sandyston, NJ/Kittatinny). Springmeyer gave the Devils a 3-0 edge at the 55:15 mark off passes from Andrews and freshman forward
Bethany Barrar (Somerset, MA/Somerset) before senior defender
Ellen Siracuse (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West) ended Senior Day in style when she drove home a pass from sophomore defender
Marybeth Weimer (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Red Bank Catholic).
Freshman goalkeeper
