ST. DAVIDS, PA - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by #10 Eastern, 6-1, in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 8-9 (2-3 Freedom) while the Eagles improved to 14-2 (5-0 Freedom).
Eastern got on the board just 2:59 into the contest but the Devils came back to tie it at 1-1 at the 19:50 mark when junior midfielder
Megan Springmeyer (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills) found the back of the cage. Unfortunately for FDU, Eastern then turned it on by scoring twice more before the half to take a 3-1 lead into intermission. The Eagles then converted three more times in the second half to get the win.

Tess Loughran (Newton, NJ/Newton) suffered the loss, making six saves.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at DeSales beginning at 1 pm.
