MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Misericordia, 1-0, in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday evening.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 7-8 (2-2 Freedom) while the Cougars improved to 7-5 (3-0 Freedom).
Misericordia notched the lone goal of the game with 11:58 left in the first half. Both squads had good looks down the stretch to either tie the game, in FDU's case, or add an insurace goal, in Misericordia's case. The Devils were actually better statistically, holding an 8-6 edge in shots and a 13-5 advantage in penalty corners.

Tess Loughran (Newton, NJ/Newton) suffered the loss, making two saves.
The Devils return to action on Friday, October 15, 2010, at Vassar beginning at 4 pm.
