WILKES-BARRE, PA - Sophomore setter Kerry Kuperman (Scottsdale, AZ/Chaparral) had seven kills, 25 assists and 19 digs to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 3-1 (26-24, 25-21, 20-25, 25-17) win over Wilkes in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the Devils improved to 8-4 (1-0 Freedom) while the Colonels dropped to 9-2 (0-1 Freedom).

Junior middle hitter Lauren Brazier (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville) finished with nine kills while junior outside hitter Patty Manhart (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) recorded eight kills.  Sophomore libero Marta Matera (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) had 21 digs and sophomore outside hitter Katlyn Mullane (San Antonio, TX/Warren) added six kills and 15 digs.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at home with the Devils Quad against Rutgers-Camden (11 am), Ramapo (1 pm), and Cedar Crest (3 pm).
