MADISON, NJ - With the game tied at 1-1 and just under a minute left to play, William Paterson found the back of the cage to beat the College at Florham Devils by a score of 2-1 in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 2-4.

After a scoreless first half, senior midfielder Jackie Gale (New Vernon, NJ/Madison) started the scoring at the 48:29 mark when she scored off a rebound.  The Pioneers tied it with 15:04 to go and then got the winner with 0:45 remaining.

Freshman goalkeeper Meghan O'Neil (Highlands, NJ/Henry Hudson) made eight saves in cage for FDU.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at The College of New Jersey beginning at 3 pm.
