MAHWAH, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were beaten by Ramapo, 4-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 4-9.
Ramapo got on the board first, at the 13:50 mark, but the game then turned into a back-and-forth affair for the remainder of the first half and for the first 17:00 of the second half. The Roadrunners then scored two goals in the span of 3:19 to grab a 3-0 advantage. FDU cut it to 3-1 on a goal by senior forward
Alex DeVito (Wayside, NJ/Ocean Twp.) at the 56:57 mark but Ramapo got it right back, scoring just 0:15 later.
Freshman goalkeeper
Meghan O'Neil (Highlands, NJ/Henry Hudson) suffered the loss, allowing three goals while making 12 saves.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Misericordia beginning at 1 pm.
