MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils knocked off King's, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-22), in Freedom Conference action on Thursday evening. The win clinched the third seed for FDU in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament.
With the win, the Devils improved to 16-14 (4-2 Freedom) while the Monarchs dropped to 17-10 (3-3 Freedom).
Sophomore outside hitter
Katlyn Mullane (San Antonio, TX/Warren) led the way with 11 kills and 14 digs while senior right side
Meghan Droge (North Merrick, NY/Kellenberg) added 10 kills. Freshman setter
Nicole Weissert (Bay Shore, NY/Bay Shore) finished with 27 assists and 12 digs while junior middle hitter
Lauren Brazier (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville) had eight kills and seven blocks.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, with the Devils Tri-Match against Manhattanville at 3 pm and against Philadelphia Biblical at 7 pm.
