During the 2018-19 campaign, Battaglia was tabbed as the MAC Freedom Women's Coach of the Year as the Devils went 15-5. The 15 wins were tied for the most in program history, while five different women's players notched their 50th career wins. On the men's side, FDU went 14-9 and saw Kevin Weller gain Second Team All-MAC Freedom accolades.
