Kristin Giotta is the longest tenured head coach in the program’s history. In August 2018, Giotta was named the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and assumed the role of Senior Woman’s Administrator in the summer of 2019. In the Summer of 2022, Giotta was promoted to Co-Interim Athletic Director and later in the summer of 2023, was named the Director of Athletics for FDU-Florham Athletics.

Giotta oversees a comprehensive NCAA Division III program of 23 varsity sports, more than 450 student-athletes, and a full athletics staff of over 30 professionals. She was appointed to the role on August 1, 2023, after previously serving as Co-Interim Director of Athletics and Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance.

In her role, Giotta manages the day-to-day operations of the department while leading strategic initiatives in fundraising, facilities, student-athlete development, and administrative restructuring. Under her leadership, the department has generated significant fundraising success, surpassing $100,000 in annual giving efforts, while also securing additional institutional funding for facility enhancements. She has played a key role in major upgrades across campus athletics facilities, including improvements to Robert T. Shields Field and the Ferguson Recreation Center, as well as the installation of HUDL camera systems and comprehensive branding enhancements.

Giotta has also prioritized the student-athlete experience, spearheading initiatives such as priority course registration, the development of the Exercise Science academic program, and the implementation of the FDU Devils Leadership Academy. She has worked collaboratively across campus to improve admissions processes for prospective student-athletes and expand mental health and wellness programming. During her tenure as Director of Athletics, the department has captured multiple championships, including football (2024) and men’s tennis (2025).

Prior to her appointment as Director of Athletics, Giotta served as Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance from 2018 to 2023, where she ensured adherence to NCAA and conference regulations, managed eligibility for over 450 student-athletes, and led department-wide education and reporting efforts. She also played a critical role in admissions coordination, recruitment tracking, and institutional policy development.

Giotta’s coaching career spans more than two decades, highlighted by her longstanding tenure as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at FDU-Florham since 2006. She has amassed over 200 career wins, led her program to 14 postseason appearances, and captured multiple championships, including MAC regular-season titles and an ECAC championship in 2022. Her teams have earned regional and national recognition, including a 17-win season and national ranking consideration.

In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, she has contributed extensively to player development through roles with the New Jersey Olympic Development Program and Match Fit Academy.

A former standout student-athlete, Giotta was a goalkeeper at Monmouth University, where she earned First Team All-NEC honors twice before continuing her playing career professionally with the NJ Lady Stallions.

Giotta holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a master’s degree in Educational Counseling, both from Monmouth University.

She currently resides in Roxbury, N.J. with her husband, Dave, their daughter Lyda and son, Kalvin.
