CAREER WRITE-UP
Tufaro arrived at FDU in the spring of 2019. Under Tufaro the Devils offense has produced 18 All-MAC selections in the last 4 years. In 2023 the Devils offense ranked #1 in the conference in Scoring (32.55 ppg), Total Offense (409.5 ypg), Passing Offense (239.8 ypg), 1^st Downs Per Game (23), 3^rd Down Conversion percentage (54.0%) and Completion percentage (71.4%)  all while having the least amount of turnovers in the MAC. In 2023 Devils Kwanir Edwards led the MAC in rushing (1094), Ryon Thomas led the MAC in passing (237.8) and Aidan Clowry led the MAC in receptions (62). 

Before arriving in Madison, Tufaro coached the Running backs and Fullbacks at the State University of New York at Morrisville. He also served as the JV head coach and a Co-Strength & Conditioning Coordinator. While there he coached 3 All-Empire 8 selections and helped the Mustangs to an ECAC Bowl game bid in 2018.

Before his time in Morrisville he spent a season coaching the running backs at his Alma mater, Bluefield College. That year he mentored Sophomore running back Alex Smith who led the conference in rushing and was named First team All-Mid South Conference. 

Tufaro resides in Phillipsburg, New Jersey with his wife Brianna. He graduated from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School here in New Jersey and received his Masters in Sports Management from FDU in 2021.
