Paxton, MA - The FDU-Florham Devils women's lacrosse team closed spring break with a stellar 16-1 win over the Anna Maria College Amcats 

 
Devils Highlights 

• Juliann
• a Medina recorded 8 points, netting 5 goals and 3 assists for the Devils 
• Kristen Mellon scored 3 goals and 1 assist 
• Madison Ballesteros, Sabrina Davis, and Abigail Collins each finished the day with 2 goals  
• Romina Revelo and Emily Dymkowski each scored 1 goal 
• Alison Kozik faced 1 shot during the first 30 minutes in the cage, saving 1 shot 
• Jenna Hawley was in the cage for the remainder of the game, making 3 saves and allowing in 1 goal on 4 shots faced 

How it Happened 

• Medina earned herself a hat-trick within the first eight minutes of the first quarter 
• Between Medina's second and third goals, Revelo scored for the Devils while Mellon earned herself a hat-trick, taking it to 7-0  
• Collins closed out the scoreless first quarter for the Amcats with FDU's 8th goal of the day 
• To open the second quarter, Medina notched her fourth goal off a free-position shot 
• To follow Medina's goal, Collins earned her second, and Medina scored for a fifth time
• Ballesteros finished the first half of play with two goals herself, propelling the Devils to a 13-0 score 
• In the third quarter, FDU continued to secure its win with 2 goals from Dymbrowski on a free position shot and Davis during a man-up opportunity  
• During the fourth quarter, Davis scored the final goal for the Devils with 3:40 remaining 
• The Amcats got a shot in the cage in the final seconds of the game as the Devils finished 16-1

The Devils will head to Mahwah, NJ to take on the Ramapo Roadrunners on Saturday, March 25th at 7:00 PM.
