Box Score MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils women's soccer team hosted Rutgers-Newark this evening for a non-conference match. The Devils and Scarlet Raiders played a close game, but FDU came out victorious winning 3-2.

Early into the first half, as the Scarlet Raiders defense worked to keep the ball away from the Devils, Northridge gained control and flew past Rutgers-Newark defense. She charged towards the goal as she met with the Scarlet Raiders goalkeeper at the top of the box. Northridge took the shot into an open goal for the point.

With an even 1-1 score, both teams fought to take the lead. FDU offense pressed hard and with a pass from Anna Kosta, Rivera had control of the ball, scoring the Devils second goal allowing them to take the 2-1 lead.

The Devils will continue home this weekend on Saturday, Sept. 13 for a match against Farmingdale State. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
